The Society for Pharmaceutical Dissolution Science (SPDS) is excited to announce that the abstract submission window for Dissolution Research Presentation International (DRPI) 2025 is now open! This prestigious online poster presentation competition is a wonderful opportunity for early-stage pharmaceutical researchers, including Masters and PhD students, to showcase their innovative research.
Abstracts would be accepted under two categories:
Please note that the emphasis of the abstract and the forthcoming presentations needs to be on the experiments around the above-mentioned themes. Experiments related to formulation development and other evaluation aspects should be less than 50% of the scientific content. Also, please ensure that the experiments related to the themes of the competition as listed above, and corresponding results, are included in detail in the abstract.
Presenting author should be a registered student and he/she should submit a certificate from the research guide or the institution head to that effect. This category includes participants who graduated within the last six months.
The abstracts will be reviewed by an expert scientific committee and the review process may include suggestions to modify the abstract, if required. Abstracts not complying with theme will be rejected.
This year, all rounds of the DRPI competition will be online. However, participants whose abstract gets accepted will have the exciting opportunity to present their posters at the Disso Asia 2025 International Symposium, scheduled for August 29–30, 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia if they choose to do so. In this case, participants will receive certificates from both DRPI 2025 and Disso Asia 2025 for their presentations.
Further competition rounds for the selected abstracts, under both categories:
a) Video-submission: Submit a 10-minute recorded video presentation for preliminary round of selection for the semi-finals.
b) Semi-finals: To select finalists through evaluation of online video presentations and live Q&A by panel of Judges from India.
c) DRPI-India Finals: To select best presentations through evaluation of same online video presentations and live Q&A by panel of Judges from India & abroad.
d) DRPI-World Finals: Top 3 prize winners of DRPI-India Finals under each category shall participate in Online DRPI-World Finals
