Society for Pharmaceutical Dissolution Science (SPDS) in association with American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) and supported by Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) & Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy (BNCP) announces DRPI-India 2023 and invites Abstracts for Oral Presentation from young researchers of age below 40 years (as of May 31, 2023).
Abstracts would be accepted from May 08 till May 31, 2023 under two categories:
Presenting author should be a registered student and he/she should submit a certificate from the research guide or the institution head to that effect.
For DRPI-India 2023 competition, there is a small change in the model compared to previous years where the entire competition was online. This year the abstracts are invited as previously, and would be evaluated by expert committee for scientific content, originality, data quality and practical utility. The acceptance of the abstracts will be notified on DRPI website. The selected abstracts will be eligible for subsequent preliminary in-person poster presentation competition round during DISSO India–Mumbai 2023, being held on Monday 26th & Tuesday 27th June 2023 at Mukesh Patel auditorium, NMIMS campus, Vile Parle West, Mumbai – 400056.
Further competition rounds for the selected posters under both categories:
a) Semi-finals: To select finalists through evaluation of online video presentations and live Q&A by panel of Judges from India. Semi-finals will be held on Saturday 08th and Sunday 09th July 2023.
b) DRPI-India Finals 2023: To select best presentations through evaluation of same online video presentations and live Q&A by panel of Judges from India & abroad. DRPI-India Finals are scheduled for Saturday 15th July 2023.
c) DRPI-World Finals 2023: Top 3 prize winners of DRPI-India 2023 Finals under each category shall participate in Online DRPI-World Finals 2023 to be held on 23rd and 24th September 2023.
Presenting authors and researchers can submit their abstracts now without paying any charges. Click here to submit the abstract.
Once the abstract is accepted, you will be notified via email to prepare your Poster Presentation.
Presenting authors (1-person per accepted abstract), once they receive confirmation of acceptance of their abstract, need to pay donation Rs. 1,000/- to SPDS India to participate in the poster competition which will be an in-person presentation during DISSO India–Mumbai 2023, during 26th & 27th June 2023.
Payment link and other details would be sent on email once your abstract is accepted.
Presenting authors will get one Free ‘Poster Presenter’ Delegate Pass to attend DISSO India–Mumbai 2023 in person, pass to attend the online
DRPI-India 2023 Semi-final events (08 & 09 July 2023) and the online Finals event (15 July 2023).
Those who do not wish to enter competition but wish to only attend the online Semi-finals and All-India Finals event as a delegate, also need to pay Rs. 1000/- as donation to SPDS.

Attractive cash awards and winner certificates
Meritorious participants will be selected for the DRPI-India Finals.
Cash award of Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only) to each 1st prize winner from both the categories.
Subsequent attractive cash awards to be declared depending on the number of finalists in each category.
Consolation prizes for the other finalists.
